Menu Plan Monday!
Leftover pulled pork served on loaded baked potatoes. I need to grab a couple extra potatoes, but that’s no problem because I’m doing an end-of-the month shop. Delicious. – Cost: $2.50 for the potatoes. Pulled pork was $5.50, but made two meals, so $2.75. Then $.75 for bacon bits, small dab of sour cream, and shredded cheese. Total: $6
CHILI! It’s been on my plan but keeps getting pushed back. We’re expecting a wild and wooly cold front, so this is a perfect comfort food. And of course, it got pushed back again. Kids and Husband ate nuggets and fries. – Cost: $2.50 for nuggets and $.50 for fries. Total: $3.
is grocery shopping day. I’m wanting a nice pot roast to cook in the Crockpot, but that will depend on if I can find a good one at a price I’m willing to pay since I don’t have any in my freezer. I found a nice pot roast at Randalls today, so I may throw that in the crockpot tomorrow.
Friday: Leftover night.
Saturday: Fend for yourself or breakfast for dinner.
Sunday: Superbowl Sunday! We’ll have stuffed jalapenos, maybe cheese dip, chips and salsa, and all kinds of deliciously unhealthy food.
