Pasta day! Leftovers from grilling day turned into Grilled Chicken Caesar Salads.
Herb Roasted turkey breast, roasted red potatoes and fresh green beans with bacon. it’s in the oven right now. My house smells really good right now. I’m subbing in mashed potatoes, though because I didn’t get back to the store for red potatoes.
Wednesday: Taco Wednesday, with refried beans and rice. Cost is about $8.
Thursday: Crockpot meal. I found a pork loin at the back of the fridge, so we’ll do pulled pork sandwiches. My favorite recipe. Plug in crockpot, add pork, open barbeque sauce, cook till done. Serve on rolls with french fries and a veggie.
Friday: Fend for yourself/clean out the fridge/freezer day. Usually Fridays are jampacked with kids wanting to go different places and Mom wanting to cook. 🙂 I’m also going to experiment with using an insert in my large 7 quart Crock Pot. We have some soup mixes from the rodeo, and I want to do a pan of cornbread too. Let’s see if the crockpot will let me do both at the same time! 🙂
Saturday: Another easy day. Possibly dinner out. With a coupon, of course.
Sunday: Grilling when we get back, as we’re doing a Star Fleet Yachts cruise around Clear Lake.
