Menu Plan Monday!
Pasta day! Probably quick spaghetti and meatballs, because we’ll be going in 3 directions, between a band concert, Astros game, and cleaning the house. Tonight was an excellent night for sandwiches and frozen pizza. 🙂
Taco Tuesday! Soft tacos, Spanish rice, and refried beans. Ground beef is $5, tortillas $1, cheese $.50, sour cream $.50 and veggies $1. Rice, ro-tel, and refried beans were free with coupons. Cost – about $8. Spaghetti, bread, salad. Cost – $6 for the meat, $1 for bread and pasta, spaghetti sauce, and lettuce were free with coupons. We’ll round it up to $7.50. Check! 🙂
Meatloaf, mac and cheese, and broccoli. We got some lovely fresh sausage from the market that is begging to be cooked with some red potatoes and onion. Oh so tasty! So nice, the teenager didn’t get any! 😉 He had to settle for some sandwiches.
Thursday: Crockpot meal, probably chicken.
Friday: Fend for yourself/clean out the fridge/freezer day.
Saturday: Breakfast for dinner.
Sunday: Soup and sandwiches.

You can click on my tags to see how our previous meals have worked out. If I remembered to update. I’m feeding 3 adults, one teenage boy, one tween (girl), and a toddler boy. None of our portions are tiny, and my goal is to spend no more than $10 per meal.
