There are coupons for natural and organic food, even though it can seem like finding coupons for items on the outside of the grocery store like meat, vegetables, dairy and natural and organic products is impossible. Mambo Sprouts makes it easy to find them. They are available in your Valpak mailer (mine is usually blue) AND here today!

Did you know Whole Foods takes coupons? They do, and I’ve never had a problem redeeming coupons there. Don’t forget your reusable bags when you go, for an additional $.10 discount per bag. Using coupons and available sales can really help out at Whole Foods.

My favorite coupon, which I’ve already printed, is for Bob’s Red Mill. I love their cornmeal when I’m making cornbread from scratch because it’s great quality and always a great price. Now it’s an even better one. Thanksgiving is coming up quickly, and my cornbread dressing is always a hit!

Let’s face it. It’s hot. No one wants to go to a bunch of stores. I’m not sure I have the energy to do anything besides lay up underneath the air conditioning.

However, the food still needs to appear in the house, so I took a look at the ads that were up early and here’s what I’m putting on my list. There are offers I am probably missing, but if you’re looking for the best all around deals, this is a good place to start.

Even though I haven’t been blogging, we’ve still got to eat! I’ve been using a combination of Sprouts, HEB and Randalls grocery delivery to fill the fridge.

Randalls grocery delivery is extremely convenient. You can get the same coupons that are in the weekly ad, as well as your Just4U personalized pricing and loaded coupons. I usually save 50% AND I don’t have to leave the house.

Tips:
1. Load everything to your Just4U card you might want to pick up.
2. Check the Delivery Deals. There are usually a lot of text codes/coupons that can save a lot in combination with your other deals.
3. Enjoy free delivery and no shopping fee!

I hope to get back to blogging more regularly now that I’m done with grad school. 🙂

School Supply Deals – 6/25/17

This is one of my favorite times of the year – it’s time to save some money on school supplies. I love pens, notebooks, planners, and all that jazz, so I really get excited when I start seeing deals on the front page of the office supply stores. This year, I’ll be in grad school, my daughter will be a senior, and I’ll have a 3rd grader. Gah.

Even if you don’t have kids in school, this is a great time to stock up for a home office, church, daycare, nursing home, or any other place where lots of craft items would be appreciated. Glue is good everywhere! Not glitter, though. We hates the glitter.

So, here’s what’s on my list this week, as well as the things I think you can skip for now. The slime-making craze shows no signs of going away, so I would expect to see glue be a hot commodity for the rest of the summer.

Staples:
Crayola Markers and Pencils – $.97, limit 30
– Nothing covers quite like Crayola. I don’t subscribe to buying everything name-brand, but this is a decent price and one I’m going to take advantage of this week. Even though it might not be on the list, it still ends up being needed every.single.year.

Staples Standard 1″ Binder – $1.92
– I use binders to keep up with paperwork (hello IEP nonsense) as well as for school.

Staples Brand Composition Books – $.50
– These can get a little hard to find later in the year, so buy them now. This is a historically low price.

Glue and Crayola Crayons are both $.50 each but I think they’ll get cheaper. After all, this is the first week the deals are popping up so there’s no need to go nuts.
