I found a great coupon book at Randalls last night. Chock full of manufacturer’s coupons, which means you can use them anywhere!

My favorites include:
$2 off Hefty Trash Bags – $2.09 at Food Town, so $.09 for a box of trash bags
$1 off Hefty OneZip, Plates, or Cups
$1 off Sierra Mist product – 20 oz bottles are $.50 at HEB
$1.50 off McCormick Pure Vanilla – should be cheap somewhere
$1 off Bisquick – packets are $.67 at HEB

If you don’t find the book in the baking aisles or on a display, ask around. Sometimes they’re at the register, and sometimes they’re at customer service.

TGI Friday’s Skillet Entrees – Buy 2, Get 1 free.
Use the Target printable coupon at target.com for $4/2.
Use 3 manufacturer coupons from 9/26 SS $2/1

The math is $5.99 + $5.99 + $5.99=$17.97.
Minus $5.99 (for the sale), $4 for the TC, and $6 for the MC.
=1.98 for all 3.

You could also buy 6, and use 3 Target coupons. It would actually make a little bit of overage, but I doubt you could get a cashier to push it through. 🙂

OreIda French Fries – Buy 2, Get 1 free.
Use the $3/2 coupon from the Randalls/Safeway booklet.

Buy 6, use 3 coupons. But make SURE that the coupon gives you full value. Mine only went for the price of one item, but I wasn’t in the mood to argue.

Breakdown:
$2.14 * 6 = $12.84
$12.84 – $4.28 (two free for promo) = $8.56
$8.56 – $6 = $2.56 for 6 bags of french fries.

I’m going to Wal-Mart. On a Friday. Before a holiday. After 5 pm.

Gee, that looks really unsafe, despite being the approved hand truck. Forgive the shaky hand. 🙂

Who can navigate this maze? Not me!

It’s like a messed up game of “Who can unload the truck the fastest without killing a customer?”.

And who can unload more than one of these at a time? I hope refrigerated goods aren’t being left in the aisles like this…

Monday: Steaks, baked potatoes, and a veggie. We picked up 4 steaks at Target, marked down to $2-$3 each.

Tuesday: Leftover steak sliced for almost-fajitas.

Wednesday: Chili with rice.

Thursday: Leftover chili repurposed into chili mac casserole.

Friday: Buffalo Chicken Sandwiches and french fries, using the Tyson breaded chicken ($2.99), cheap french fries ($1 for 2 bags), and cheap hamburger buns ($.99).

Saturday: Leftover Free For All!
