I love a deal.

Thank you!Free barbecue sauce at Kroger, probably for a couple of weeks. I haven’t tried it yet, but I haven’t heard anything bad. Sweet Baby Ray’s is on sale for $1 for 18 ounces, and there was a coupon in the Smart Source 5/23 for $1/1. FREE! 🙂
Here’s my adapted meal, based on what’s in my freezer/pantry.
1 3lb beef roast (2.97) – got from my local butcher. They close on Monday, so on Sunday night, I can get some steals. And they take food stamps, which is always a plus.
1 bottle of barbecue sauce (Free)
2 cubes of onion bouillon that I got last week (I got 20 mini cubes for .065. Not doing that math)
2 cubes of garlic bouillon (See above)
Assorted other spices till it smells good. I like a little chipotle powder and regular chile powder. (.25)
enough water to cover (Free)
Toss into crockpot till falling apart. All day on low usually works.
Serve with scalloped potatoes (.50 a box at HEB after coupon) and a couple cans of corn (.10 each after coupon)
Even accommodating for my family of big eaters, I can easily serve 5 for $5. You could serve a side salad, or sub in your family’s favorite sides. Potatoes, corn, rice and pasta are usually cheapest and the most “picky eater friendly”. Meals like this are always payday stretchers to me, because you can use any meat in your freezer, and any spices that your family will eat.
Some deals from my grocery bag:
Knorr bouillon cubes – $.79 at Kroger.
Knorr mini cubes – $1.29 at Kroger.
Use the $.45/1 any Knorr product (except mini cubes) and the $.35/1 Knorr Mini Cube from 5/2/10 SS (received in Spanish/English). It will triple.
Math looks like this: $2.08
minus $1.95 coupons after tripling.
equal $0.13 for both products.
You have to buy both products in the same transaction. The coupons do something weird. They don’t adjust down for the overage on the bouillon cubes, which makes this a spectacular deal. I like using bouillon cubes in dishes that require a long time to cook.
You’re only entitled…

You do not have the right to put yourself in law enforcement’s place. You do not have the right to go usurping those rights. You also don’t have the right to bring someone else’s business to my house. How can you call yourself a Christian when you’re involved more in your neighbor’s business than your own?
