I teach Coupon Classes in Houston!
Are you interested in learning how to be an Extreme Couponer without turning your home into a grocery store? Have you seen “Extreme Couponing” and want to learn how to get your savings to 100% even just once? Do you want to learn how to combat those crazy rising prices at the pump, by saving your family 60-75% on the foods you already eat? Would you like to learn how to optimize your savings at the grocery stores, especially those in the Houston Area?
Do you have a few friends who want to do the same thing?
I will come to your location in the Houston Metro Area and spend 3+ hours breaking it all down for you. I will provide door prizes for classes of 8+, coupons to get you started, and my getting started guide.

Unfortunately at this time, I have to restrict my classes to the Houston – Galveston area. Have a few dates/times in mind, and I’ll get back to you as soon as possible (usually in 24-48 hrs). Cost is $10 per person with a minimum of 5 people.
I have had to institute a deposit system. A deposit of $50 is due 1 week before the class OR everyone in your class can pay their fee beforehand via Paypal or Eventbrite. I reserve the right to close refunds 24 hrs before the scheduled class.

Hello actually i have a question about just class for myself. I have just moved to texas and dont know anyone but my mom ad stepdad. I am looking to save money or myself.

im new to couponing, ive found a few good deals but im sure im not maximizing my entire dollar amount or coupons yet.

Private classes can be held whereever you get a group together. Just let me know where you have in mind. Actually, I meant to call the Nessler Center, to see how much space costs. I lived in Texas City for a while.

does anyone get together for coupon swaps in the Houston area?
I know there’s one in the Katy area, but I’m not sure of the details. What side of town are you on?

I’m thinking about organizing a Houston couponers get-together / coupon swap. Most likely it’ll be at my office which is not far from the Galleria. I’m thinking about doing it on a Saturday morning….maybe 10am-11am or something like that. It would be great if Houston coupon bloggers (Kristin!) and couponing teachers could come and promote themselves. I’ll try to get some giveaways so that everyone can go home with something new. 🙂
What’s a good way to spread the word on this? I did post the suggestion on A Full Cup and We Use Coupons forums already.

I decided to set a date for a Houston Coupon get together. It’s coming up on Sunday, July 24th from 2pm-3:30pm at my office on 6220 Westpark (not far from the Galleria). I thought the 24th would be a good date since many coupons are expiring on the 31st.

Thank you to those that attended our first Couponing Get-Together yesterday. For those of you who couldn’t attend this one, we hope you can make it next time. Here’s a quick summary of the event:
There were refreshments and snacks for all. We had a nice group of 8 couponers, some very experienced and some beginners. I was amazed how much information of deals some knew about. We were able to trade coupons for the deals we wanted which was awesome, but one of the greatest things was putting together deals using coupons that expire in a few days! The beginners were very excited about getting started, and everyone got 10 free coupon sleeves for their binders.

I live in a 4 bedroom house with 13 people (7 adults, 3 teens, 1 5 yr old, 2 1 yr olds and another baby on the way!) and 1 cat.
