We’re going to make this simple. I think I have just a few steps to get you on the road to saving a lot of money.
- Make a meal plan.
- Fill out that meal plan around things that are on sale.
- Add in side dishes/fruits/veggies that are under $1. Not just what you want to eat, but things that fit your budget and lifestyle.
- Eat what you buy and buy what you eat. If you buy 14 lbs of squash because it’s on sale but no one eats it, you just wasted money. Don’t do it!
- Don’t be hard on yourself. Not everyone becomes a coupon ninja overnight. It takes practice and lots of screwing up.
