This week, in Houston, we’re getting 3 inserts. You can expect to find 1 Smart Source, 1 General Mills and 1 Red Plum. I’m seeing reports of a 4th insert, but in my early edition of the Houston Chronicle, there were only 3. Believe me, I looked that sucker over…
The coupons that have me excited include:
Smart Source:
$3/1 Huggies Slip On Diapers (Pairs nicely with the sale at CVS this week)
$1/2 Casa Fiesta items (Made for free beans and taco shells at Food Town and Sellers Brothers)
$5/1 Bengay
Red Plum:
$.50/1 Mahatma Rice (Love this coupon – we eat a lot of rice)
$1/2 Pop Secret (Should make for really cheap popcorn at Foodarama or Food Town)
General Mills:
Pretty standard, low value coupons. If you’re brand loyal to any of these products, it’s a good chance to save.
How many are you buying? I’m not sure how many I’m actually going to buy. I’m going to hit my neighbors up, for sure.

I live in Southern NJ. We got 4. 2 Smartsource, 1 General Mills, 1 Red Plum. I am excited about the $5 Tylenol Precise coupons. My Mom and Hubby use them for their back. 😀 There are many really good coupons this week and this is only from my local paper. The city paper has better coupons in it and it gets delivered on Sunday Morning.
I might get different ones in the actual Sunday paper, but our inserts were a little different than the preview. I’m going to go scout my neighborhood later for abandoned inserts. 😀
we got 4 inserts here in the Chicagoland area 2-SS, RP & GM
i live in houston and my newspaper from walmart only had 2 inserts. i thought something was up so purchased a second newspaper from somewhere else and that only had 2 also. do you think it was just in that particular area where newspapers are distributed? this is the second time we dont receive a general mills insert. i purchased the early sunday edition
Nope, I live in Pasadena, and got 3 inserts in my regular Sunday edition, just like in my early edition. 1 SS, 1 GM, and 1 RP. Looks like the Chronicle had some issues with their issues.
