I love HEB. I really do. If they would double my coupons, I’d spend more money there. I bet a lot of serious couponers feel the same way. The meal deals are rarely a good deal so I really don’t recommend them unless you’re going to use *every* item.

Anyway.

Good deals:
$1.77/lb Boneless Skinless Chicken breast. I’ve never had a problem with HEB meat.
.98/lb Red Seedless Grapes
$1.97 Clementine Mandarins (2lb package) – This is $.97 lb, which is very reasonable.
$1.27/lb Seasoned Boneless, Skinless Chicken Thighs (Yes, this is the exact same product that Mi Tienda has for less. They do that sometimes.)
$.67/lb Sanderson Farms Whole Chicken
Jimmy Dean Breakfast Sausage – 2/$5. Use the $1.50/2 from the 11/7 RP.
– Final Price – $1.75 each when you buy 2
Hefty Foam Tableware $1. Use the $1 off from the Randalls Thanksgiving booklet AND the store coupon to get them for free.

HEB always has different coupons and peelies than the other stores in my area. They also don’t have a coupon policy online, so couponer beware. Although most coupons don’t beep there, it is a possibility.

I found a great coupon book at Randalls last night. Chock full of manufacturer’s coupons, which means you can use them anywhere!

My favorites include:
$2 off Hefty Trash Bags – $2.09 at Food Town, so $.09 for a box of trash bags
$1 off Hefty OneZip, Plates, or Cups
$1 off Sierra Mist product – 20 oz bottles are $.50 at HEB
$1.50 off McCormick Pure Vanilla – should be cheap somewhere
$1 off Bisquick – packets are $.67 at HEB

If you don’t find the book in the baking aisles or on a display, ask around. Sometimes they’re at the register, and sometimes they’re at customer service.
