Sellers Brothers doubles coupons up to .50, limit of 2 like.

Deals this week:
Gain Detergent – $3.99 – Use the $1/1 coupon from the 11/28 PG to pay $2.99.  Limit 2 per family w/additional $10 purchase.


Kid size Tangerines or Oranges – 12/$1 – I like the smaller sized fruit for kids that don’t eat much.  Although, I’ve seen a couple of my kids put away 3 or 4 at a go.

Pillsbury Cake Mix – .88 – There are assorted coupons for Pillsbury baking products.  If other varieties are included, there’s a $.40/1 cookie mix, and a couple others.  I have a tearpad coupon in my stack for $1.00/2, so I would pay .38 when I bought 2.

Any store that doubles coupons is going to get a second look from me.  I recommend that anyone working on their budgets take a step out of their comfort zone.

Sellers Brothers is a smaller chain that’s primarily in what one radio station calls “the working side of town”.  Locations are all on the east side of Houston.  The stores that I’ve been in were always clean and I don’t have a problem shopping where ever the cheapest price is.  And they don’t even pay me to say that.

Good deals this week:
Adolphus Long Grain Rice – .99 for 3 lb packages, limit 2 w/$10 add purchase.
Pilgrim’s Pride Frozen Boneless, Skinless Chicken Breast – $3.98 for 2.5lb package – that’s $1.59 per pound, always a good deal. 
Russet Potatoes – $1.77/10 lbs.  Excellent price.  If you’re headed there anyway, why not add in a baked potato night to your meal plan.
Bell Peppers – 3/$1.  I love bell peppers.
Tangerines – 7/$1.  Great price.
Blue Bell – $3.88.  There’s a printable available on bluebell.com, but I’m not sure if this store takes printables.  I’ll stop in and let you know for next time.
Wesson Vegetable Oil – $1.99.  Use the $1 from the Randalls Thanksgiving Booklet to pay $.99 each.  Great price for oil, and you don’t have to deal with the Mega Event at Krogers to get the same price.  If you don’t have the Thanksgiving booklet (and why not, I talk about it enough), you can use the .40/1 from 11/14 SS.
Ragu Spaghetti Sauce – 2/$3 – Use both the $1/2 from the Randalls Thanksgiving Booklet plus the free pasta when you buy 2 Ragu from 11/14 RP.  Final price: $2 for 2 jars of sauce and one box of pasta.
