Wal-Mart Match Ups

Thank you!Wal-Mart mailed me another ad, so I’ll go ahead and break it down for you. They don’t double coupons, and printable coupons, while allowed on their policy here, your mileage may vary. It usually helps to print a copy of their policy, including the footer showing the actual address and place it with your coupons. Wal-Mart also matches competitors.
On to the deals!
There’s only 4 pages in this ad, but the cover page is just telling you how much you can save at Wal-Mart! Not that deals can’t be found at Wal-Mart, because they can, but there are other places to shop.
Blue Bell Ice Cream – $5.98 – I would never pay this price. Nope, not happening. Not even when I was pregnant and craving ice cream. Bluebell.com also has a printable $1/1, just register.
Triscuits, Wheat Thins (and also Ritz in-store) – $1.98 – Use the $1/1 coupon in the 11/14 SS to pay just .98 each.
State Fair Corn Dogs – $5.16 – Use the $.75/1 coupon in the 9/12 RP to pay $4.41 each. My teenager loves these, so they’re an occasional treat.
Crisco Baking Sticks – $2.50 – There are assorted coupons for this, but I just have to point out that butter is cheaper at this point! 🙂
The last page is meat and produce deals. None of them really just rock my socks, but if you’re a Wal-Mart shopper, enjoy!
Wal-Mart Match Ups?
This post may contain links to sponsors and/or advertisers. By using these links, you help support this free site at no cost to you. Thank you! What is this world coming to? Well, they mailed me an ad, so I’ll pick out some things that could be a good price:
$1.38/lb Frozen Turkey Breast – if this is like Jenny-O or Butterball, I’d buy it, but not if it’s Wal-Mart brand.
$1.78/lb Boneless, Skinless Chicken Breast – Again, I wouldn’t buy the Wal-Mart brand, but if it looks good and doesn’t leak, etc, I might buy this.
For everything else in the 4 page ad, I can get it cheaper somewhere else. Blue Bell is listed at $5.98 but it’s always on sale somewhere else for cheaper. This is a really disappointing ad. Could have saved the postage, Wal-Mart.
I’m going to do it. I really am.

Well, later today.
I’m going to Wal-Mart. On a Friday. Before a holiday. After 5 pm.
If I don’t post by Monday, send a search party. I’ll probably be between all of these pallets I saw tonight at Wal-Mart. Photo credits to my oh-so-patient husband.
Gee, that looks really unsafe, despite being the approved hand truck. Forgive the shaky hand. 🙂
Who can navigate this maze? Not me!
It’s like a messed up game of “Who can unload the truck the fastest without killing a customer?”.
And who can unload more than one of these at a time? I hope refrigerated goods aren’t being left in the aisles like this…
